1/5/12 We're sad to leave our friends in Buenos Aires but we're itching to put our backpacks on and head off into the wilds.

The Great Wall of China
That we've travelled to Asia by train feels a little unreal, but there could be no doubting where we were on seeing a sight as iconic as The Great Wall.
We walked through the mist from Jinshangling to Simatai, with endless steps giving our train-weary legs a good workout.
What a lovely pic - of course we love the scenery but do we just swoon over the handsome man and his gorgeous girl! "Granpa would have loved this and would have been so full of admiration for your adventures" xx
Such an inspiring blog! Loving the little pet shop boys. I'm applying for VSO and want them to send me to Mongolia... still a pipe dream though. Have a fab christmas xx
Terracotta Army, Forbidden City, Great Wall of China and now learning Kung Fu from Shaolin monks?!!! Wow. What next?! Looking forward to reading about your next adventure, as this blog is brilliant.
