Tiger Leaping Gorge, Yunnan, China
Tiger Leaping Gorge is an iconic hike for backpackers in South-West China. Being contrary, we did it back to front and with full packs. We took our time but proved fit enough to navigate the perilous ledges carved into the cliffs.

The scenery looks amazing, was it scary?
ReplyDeleteSaw a book in Oxfam yesterday entitled The English Chinese Dictionary for Lovers by X...... cant remember the author - it was a novel- I wondered if you had seen it. Just reading a fantastic book entitled The Elegance of a Hedgehog - set in France - philosophical and amusing - need to publicise it.
